(Vocus/PRWEB ) June 18, 2009 -- InfoSec, Inc. today announced that it has broadened the Service Retainer Program (SRP) mainframe services program to include out-tasking. Out-tasking allows customers to employ InfoSec’s high-quality services for specific tasks or projects where outside assistance is needed in an economical manner.

Robert Fake, President of InfoSec stated “We know that in these difficult economic times, our customers still have to get the job done, using the same or fewer resources. Our SRP mainframe services program, now including out-tasking does just that. It allows our customers to carve out a piece of their operation or a project or even a small task. An example of out-tasking would be instead of out-sourcing an entire operation to an out-sourcing organization, the customer can out-task just the security administration to InfoSec. This program helps keep our customers in line with their budgetary constraints while affording them a lending hand for projects that would otherwise be put on the back burner without the available personnel. We have customers today that do exactly that.”

“We use the InfoSec, Inc. Service Retainer Program and have found it to be a reliable, high-quality service”, stated Jack Pierce, Senior Systems Programmer at Airline Reporting Corporation.

“By out-tasking mainframe services to InfoSec, we feel that the client gets significantly more value than a lock, stock and barrel out-sourcing contract. Through the InfoSec SRP program, the customer gets the benefit of not just having the specific task or project accomplished, but also benefits from our ability to train client staff, provide architectural guidance, futures planning and more”, continues Fake.

The Service Retainer Program is available for all mainframe areas including Security Management, Database Management, Performance Management, Workload Management, Output Management and more. Depending on client needs, the SRP can be tailored to meet client requirements.
