Company Cookbook Proceeds to Benefit United Way of Northeastern Minnesota
DeCare customer service employees raise more than $1000.
Eagan, MN (Vocus/PRWEB ) February 11, 2009 -- Employees of DeCare Dental recently raised more than $1000 for the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota. A company cookbook was created and recipes were gathered from DeCare customer service employees in Gilbert, Eagan and Iowa. More than 200 cookbooks were sold.

"After years of swapping recipes following company potlucks, we decided to compile all these great recipes in the form of a published cookbook," said Jodi Cooper, DeCare Dental customer service supervisor in Gilbert. "We decided to donate the profits of our cookbook to the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota, because the organization touches many lives, communities and organizations."
A total of 227 recipes were submitted. A special feature included submitting recipes In Memory Of, which allowed employees to enter recipes in the name of loved ones who had passed away.
"With the support of all DeCare employees this project was a huge success," continued Cooper. "We are very excited to use the success of our cookbook to support our local United Way."
