Kingspan Insulated Panels to Highlight New Products and Solutions at Greenbuild 2009

Company to Feature New KingZip™ powerpanel, Net-Zero Energy Modeling and High-Performance Total Building Solutions, Along With Versatile Systems from Morin and Kingspan Benchmark

Deland, FL (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 7, 2009 -- Kingspan Insulated Panels, Inc. returns to the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, November 11-13 in Phoenix, demonstrating net-zero energy modeling programs and energy efficient products, along with versatile solutions in performance and aesthetics from Morin and Kingspan Benchmark, Kingspan Group companies.

Kingspan is dedicated to providing products and solutions that can help contribute to achieving net-zero energy buildings. To illustrate how far Envelope First Strategies could advance beyond Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®), Energy Code and the Department of Energy (DOE) Net-Zero Energy goal of 2025; Kingspan’s director of environment and sustainability, Paul Bertram, Jr., will present the company’s energy modeling programs during Greenbuild. Kingspan’s energy modeling provides data indicating annual energy costs savings, carbon emission reduction, decrease in BTUs, relationship to LEED energy efficiency targets and DOE baselines.

Kingspan will also exhibit its new KingZip™ powerpanel Solar Solutions. KingZip powerpanel Laminate systems feature factory-applied flexible and lightweight laminates, consisting of ultra-thin layers of amorphous silicon encapsulated in durable UV stabilized polymers for the generation of electricity. Designed to integrate solar PV arrays with insulated metal panels to achieve cost-effective, certified solar roof solutions, KingZip powerpanel Solar Solutions are ideal for both new build and retrofit construction. KingZip insulated metal roof systems provide design flexibility and aesthetic appeal, as well as integral thermal performance and superior airtightness, contributing towards achieving net-zero energy building and LEED certification.

Beyond LEED requirements, Kingspan insulated panels contribute to limited construction waste on the job site; faster construction times; high durability and performance; material efficiency; and material reuse when adaptive design strategies are required.

Kingspan’s booth (#954) will feature the company’s range of high-performance insulated metal panels with experts available to provide technical information. The exhibit includes three presentation areas: two dedicated to demonstrating energy modeling and one featuring information on the company’s sustainable products and initiatives. In addition to its KingZip powerpanel Solar Solutions, Kingspan will showcase its KingZip Insulated Standing Seam Roof system, 300 GS Granitstone® Wall Panels, profiles from Kingspan Benchmark’s Designwall™ Series, as well as Morin’s single element metal wall and roof panels.
