AthletiCo Opens 52nd Physical Therapy Center in South Elgin
AthletiCo, an Illinois-based leader in physical therapy, fitness, and performance services, opens its 52nd center in South Elgin.
Oak Brook, IL (Vocus/PRWEB ) June 22, 2009 -- AthletiCo, an Illinois-based leader in physical therapy, fitness, and performance services, opens its 52nd center in South Elgin. The South Elgin center is located at 722 N. McLean Blvd in South Elgin. AthletiCo South Elgin's services include Physical Therapy, Work Rehabilitation, Work Conditioning, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Pediatric Physical Therapy, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. The center also has bilingual therapists.
With the opening of the South Elgin center, AthletiCo named Tracy Wilhelm, PT, to the position of Facility Manager. Wilhelm, a Chicago native, has been with AthletiCo for over five years practicing at AthletiCo's Arlington Heights facility. In 2006, she created AthletiCo's Pediatric Physical Therapy program utilizing her understanding of the developmental needs of the pediatric population. The program, which is designed for newborns to 21-year-olds, focuses on orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurologic, congenital, or developmental medical conditions. Wilhelm has served as the Pediatric Program Manager since its inception.
In addition to her rehabilitation and managerial experience, Wilhelm is fluent in Spanish and will be able to serve the Spanish-speaking population in the Elgin area.
