Inspiration Peak Publishing Company Releases New Prints by Henning

Inspiration Peak, a publisher of fine art reproductions, releases five images by popular American landscape painter Stephen Henning. Through the use of print-on-demand technology, buyers select their favorite image in their preferred size.

Evansville, MN (PRWEB) June 2, 2009 -- Inspiration Peak Publishing Company is pleased to announce the release of five new limited edition giclée images by popular American landscape artist Stephen Henning. The reproductions of original oil pastel paintings by Henning depict peaceful scenes of untainted nature, rendered in the impressionist style for which he is known. Three of the paintings - "Willow Creek," "Sedgewick Moor" and "Whispering Brook" - are similarly set in a park-like wetland, but each is rendered with a unique color palette that plays to a different mood. "Headwaters" showcases a spring-fed pool in a secluded forest glade, almost obscured by lush reeds and wildflowers. "Evening in Glendalough" features a lily pond after sunset, in vibrant colors.

Henning's favorite subjects - woodlands and waterways fringed with cattails and water lilies - are especially popular with the interior decor market. "I'm fascinated by the way landscapes affect people," says Henning. "I try to capture that feeling of contentment and mystery that landscapes evoke. I want to paint scenes that people can enter with ease, that both soothe and inspire." Henning has received much recognition for his oil pastels, and was recently juried into signature status in the Oil Pastel Society.

Each of the five giclée print images in this release will be available in a choice of sizes. All are printed with pigmented inks on archival quality acid-free paper that meets and exceeds the Fine Art Trade Guild's standards for pH and lightfastness. "Use of giclée printing technology has several advantages," says Henning. "What I like is that it provides a vastly superior reproduction, closely matching the original. What customers like - beside the better quality image - is that they can choose from a range of sizes, so they can get the image they like in a size that best meets their wall space requirements." Because these five new prints are limited edition reproductions, no more than 200 prints will be made of each image, regardless of the quantity sold in each size.

Inspiration Peak has published and distributed Henning's limited editions to the domestic art market for over 10 years.
