Bonitas International, LLC answers our new Commander in Chief, President Barack Obama's call to service.

Bonitas International, the home of BooJeeBeads ™ workplace fashion accessories has teamed up with other sponsors in assisting twenty-one, low income Orange County schools by donating our specialty beaded lanyard ID necklaces as teacher appreciation gifts.

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) February 7, 2009 -- Without a doubt, there is a call for service to our nations educators. To show appreciation to the teachers of Orange County, Bonitas International, the home of BooJeeBeads ™ workplace fashion accessories has teamed up with other sponsors in assisting twenty-one, low income Orange County schools by donating our specialty beaded lanyard ID necklaces as teacher appreciation gifts. Bette Weinberg, Community Programs Director, Volunteer Center Orange County said, "The teachers so enjoyed the beaded lanyard gifts you provided for the teacher gift bags for the "Spirit of Giving" program. We received many thank you notes from our teachers and in each and every note they shared their gratitude for your generous gifts."

"Our beaded lanyards are designed to provide women with affordable alternatives to the unflattering dangling "shoestring" style of lanyard so prevalent in schools, transportation careers, medical facilities, corporations and government offices around the world. Bonitas Internationals line of BooJeeBeads™
fashionable and functional jewelry--including a variety of colorful beaded lanyards, retractable reel jewelry, ID clips and eyeglass necklaces--are changing the way women feel and think when dressing for work." said CEO and Co Founder Kimberly Martinez

These fabulous work accessories are available at 4,000 retailers worldwide and through the company's retail Web site, www.BooJeeBeads.com

About Bonitas International:
Bonitas International has been redefining workplace chic since 2003, when pediatric nurse Lisa Harrington and her sister-in-law Kimberly Martinez, a downsized corporate executive, teamed up to create a unique line of colorful beaded office jewelry. Today, BooJeeBeads™
provides workingwomen everywhere access to fun, functional and fashion-forward workplace essentials. The company has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, on the homepages of SmartMoney.com and Entrepreneur.com and in print and broadcast media around the country, was recently chosen, as a "Stevie Awards for Women in Business", finalist in the Most Innovative Company of the Year category.

About Spirit of Giving:
"The Spirit of Giving" is a service-learning experience providing students in low-income communities with backpacks filled with school supplies, books, toys and more to keep and give as teacher's gifts. More than just a tangible gift, the goal of this program is to teach children to be giving people through example, featuring stories and specialized curriculum. Volunteer storytellers read stories about giving to the students. Then the children are asked to "pay it forward" by volunteering their services at school, in their neighborhood, or by performing an act of kindness in their neighborhood, school or family environment.

Bonitas International is very proud to be a small part of this BIG endeavor and is honored to give back to the communities and people who bring us all together in this National Call to Service.
