Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) November 5, 2008 -- Study Island, LLC, one of the leading and fastest growing Web-based educational companies, has launched a new online standards mastery and test preparation program based on the Idaho Standard Achievement Test (ISAT). The program was built from the ground-up based specifically on the Content Standards that are tested annually on the ISAT in grades 3 through 8.

"We are thrilled to bring Study Island to Idaho," stated Tim McEwen, Study Island's CEO. "The Study Island program helps students and teachers across the country significantly improve performance. Our success is based on internal development of quality content that is deeply customized to ensure state-specific standards mastery leading to improved high-stakes test performance. Educators and students find Study Island to be an engaging and valuable program and also compliment us on our ease-of-use, effectiveness, customer service, and affordability. I have no doubt that Study Island will enhance the educational experience for Idaho students."

Study Island is foundationally and statistically research-based and is effective in increasing student learning and achievement in diverse settings across the nation. Moreover, Study Island enables students to choose their style of learning and work at their own pace. Students can work using a standard test format or choose from a wide range of interactive games. Incorrect answers are immediately addressed with an explanation of the correct response. Study Island records statistics for each student using multiple real-time reports, which helps teachers measure student progress and identify areas needing improvement. In addition, teachers can choose to use the printable worksheet or classroom response pad functions, making Study Island an extremely flexible, user-friendly, interactive program.
